I have recenty moved here from North Carolina and love it. I moved here to be close to my daughter and new granddaughter. Moved to Tampa about 3 1/2 years ago and still have not been able to find that special someone. I just moved to Florida from Los Angeles in January 2010!!! I am open to suggestions and anybody who is down to help me get to know the area.

I paint, play guitar, and try to write. Some have said i have an old soul. I could listen to almost any type of music but right now i've been listening to Alternative Reggae. I have done a little traveling and would like to set foot on every continent and dip in every ocean one day.

I would say my focus these days is learning, growing and appreciating life. Yeh, I do think there is magic out there waiting to be stumbled upon if you are open to recognizing it.

Well now that I think of it a bit I just LOVE to have fun, whether if its planned or completely spontaneous. But I do also enjoy just kicking back and relaxing, toss in a movie and watch it with the buds or the girl (if I have one that is). To say the least I have a knack of making people laugh hysterically. I have a very open and bizarre sense of humor. I find humor in just about anything... even things that aren't usually funny to anyone else or have the ability to make them funny. I am 31 and I have been single for almost 5 years. I have a beautiful teenage daughter. I am still new the area as I moved here in December of 08 from Ohio. I haven't met anyone here yet except co-workers. I enjoy all kinds of things from movies and music to going out on the town.

What I am looking for... well I am looking for someone who is funny, smart, charming, and all around is a decent man. I am from a small town and I do like the simple things in life. I truely miss the country and comforts that come with it.

I am not a girly-girl by any means. I do not worry about putting on my makeup or wearing alot of jewelry. I do have tattoos and peircing and no I am not going to show them to you. I have listed that I do not want kids, the reality is that I can no longer have kids. Which tends to be alot why I quit looking for man. Men my age are ready to settle down and have kids.

I swear, I smoke, and occasionally I drink. If that is a problem...see ya. I speak my mind and how I feel. I am out spoken and can't stand to be disrespected by anyone male or female. My daughter is my first priority no matter what. At the end of the day, I just want what everyone wants. I want to come home and have someone ask me how my day was and kiss me goodnight. I want someone that I can get to know and maybe see what happens later.

I enjoy rock music and have a bit of rebel in me. I hate conformity and refuse to bend on what I believe is happily ever after.

No, I will not send anyone a picture right away, and if someone has to ask that before anything else, then its not going to be a match. Just assume I am so ugly that I make onions cry. And go on to the next profile. There are plenty of fish to choose from the shallow end.

I value creativity, individuality and integrity. I like to write, chat, and sing. I believe that the enjoyment is in the journey, not simply the end destination. I enjoy getting to know someone in depth, to find out if its possibly a beautiful friendship, something more, or incompatible.

I believe that coming up with any accurate description would take too much time than I have at the moment, and I would not want it to be anything typical, normal or boring. So, more to come later.

I love to get out and and ride my motorcycle. I'm not a speed freak but love the way it accelerates.. love the way it gets in and out of corners. It's hard to understand if you don't ride but it's a rush that's hard ti replicate.

I am widowed and recently retired and live in the countryside area of Clearwater. I was raised in Cincinnati, went to college in Michigan, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology but didn't stay in that career path very long, as I went into medical sales.
I have lived in Clearwater since 1984.

I was born in Chicago, raised here, moved to Los Angeles at 22. Lived there for 4 years. Spent about a year in NC and have been back in the F.L. for almost 4 years now. I will say I'm from Chicago, even though I'm pretty much a floridian, and call L.A. my home. I loved it. maybe one day i'll get back. For now, I'm trying to make this town as fun as possible.

Ill also start by saying....Yes! I do have a son. ONE son, and I share 50/50 so there is plenty of time for just me and someone else. I am not one of those parents who throw their child in the face of a perspective "woman". I like to get to know someone way before they get to meet my son. There is no point in involving children unless there is potential. If you don't like kids........well, I feel bad for you. My kid defines the word awesome. He is the best thing that has happened to me, so far. ;)

I had a pretty rough 2009. No joke, it was probably the worst year of my life. I did however have the greatest epiphany I have ever had. Its not hard to decide to be happy and just be.....happy. All my life I looked at what I didn't have and never even thought about what I did have. Now I realize that everything I have is amazing and everything else is just a bonus! Its a wonderful thing. I highly suggest it!

f you are a movie buff-instant connection. I'm also trying to branch out, however, into other things such as art and photography. It would be great to meet someone who has a little knowledge to share in these areas (however not a "deal-breaker").
FOOTBALL...LOVE IT!! Being from Chicago I live and die by my Bears. If you are a fan, MAJOR points for you. I try to follow all sports and try to go to as maky events as possible. Lightning and Rays games=wicked fun (even though I am also a die hard Cubs fan. Outdoors? yeah, they aren't bad, actually want to start hiking, but alas, can not find anywhere around here. Anyone???
I enjoy live music. Even the bad local bands. really enjoy theme parks, although i don't get to them much. Im like a big kid in those things. have to ride everything and never want to leave!

What to say, what to say? I prefer to let people draw their own conclusions about me rather than filling in this little box with the details of the skewed view I have of myself.
